Wine and Italian Class

Segui un corso di sei lezioni a livello intermedio che comprende discussioni su eventi attuali, esercizi su come chiedere informazioni o esprimere opinioni e nozioni di cultura per approfondire la conoscenza della Lombardia, della Toscana e della Sicilia. Una parte del ricavato di questo corso sarà devoluto a “Il Cenacolo Italiano di Cleveland”, a sostegno delle borse di studio da assegnare agli studenti del corso di Studi Italiani a Lake Erie College.   

Improve your ability to communicate in the Italian language at the intermediate level while enjoying a glass of wine, chocolates and light appetizers. Class may include discussion of current events, to ask for information or express opinions and to learn about three areas of Italy (Lombardy, Tuscany, Sicily).
The classes will be held at Fantasy Candies, 5388 Mayfield Rd. in Lyndhurst. The 6-week course will begin on Wednesday, March 18 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Cost is $132 to be paid on the first day of class. “Practice Makes Perfect: Italian Conversation” by Marcel Danesi can be purchased from Amazon. Readings on the Italian areas will be provided by the instructor.
A portion of the proceeds of this course will be donated to “Il Cenacolo Italiano di Cleveland” in support of scholarships to be awarded to Lake Erie College students in Italian Studies.
Il Cenacolo is a nonprofit organization that meets once a month at the historic Judson Manor from September to December and March to June. Among its initiatives, each year Il Cenacolo is proud to offer academic scholarships through the Ina and Ferdinand Fournier Fund.
