The Cleveland Italian American Heritage Committee was proud to announce the 2025 Honorees for Italian American Heritage Month. They were recognized at the Opening Ceremony for Italian American Heritage Month on Monday, October 6, 2025. The event was free and open to the public. Following the ceremony all attendees enjoyed an Italian buffet dinner sponsored by the Italian Sons & Daughters of America.
The Corporate Nominee was Joseph Sidari of Sidari Foods/Greco & Sons.
Sidari Foods/Greco & Sons is a Cleveland-based company rooted in Cleveland’s Little Italy. It is known for importing, manufacturing, and distributing a broad range of specialty foods.
The business began in 1966 as Mayfield Importing Co. in a small storefront on Mayfield Road in Little Italy, reflecting deep ties to the local community and Italian American culinary culture. As the business grew in 1983, its name changed to Sidari Foods. In 2017, Sidari Foods joined Greco & Sons, becoming a leader in serving both the food service and retail markets. Today, the company offers a catalog of more than 15,000 international food items, including quality meats, cheeses, olive oils, pastas, tomatoes, canned goods, and desserts.
Joseph lives in Little Italy in Cleveland and is an alumnus of Cathedral Latin High School.
