From Italy to Cleveland, Ferri-ed by Music

Michael Ferri will be the featured artist as he makes his Severance Hall debut with the Cleveland Women's Orchestra on Sunday, April 29th at 3:30pm. He will perform the Max Bruch Violin Concerto in G Minor.

A native of Fara Gera d'Adda, a small town in the Northern Province of Bergamo (Lombardy), Michael moved to the United States with his family in 1998 at the age of three. It is here he developed his passion for music, particularly for the violin. Ferri attends the Cleveland Institute of Music as part of the Young Artists Program. In 2009, he participated in master classes in Italy with Francesco Manara, concertmaster of the orchestra of the La Scala Opera house in Milan.
