It's Festival Time!

It is festival time! Make plans to attend the many Italian festivals in our area, specifically Akron and Summit County.

First up will be the Akron Italian American Festival on Main St. in downtown Akron from July 11 to July 13. More vendors and entertainment this year will make this one not to miss. Next will be The Feast of Santo Stefano del Lupo on July 20 at 3 p.m. The Feast of Santo Stefano has been a Carovillese Tradition in the North Hill Community since 1932. This is held annually on the Saturday that is closest to July 19, the day of the Patron Saint Santo Stefano del Lupo of Carovilli. Various contests, raffles, entertainment, food, and beverages will be available! Come celebrate with old world and new age Italian music. Feast on classic dishes such as cavatelli, sausage and peppers, cannoli and more. Compete in games like "How high is the Caciocavallo!?!?" and the Pie and Watermelon eating contest. Topped off with a classic Morra contest!

Finally, Festa Italiana will be in downtown Cuyahoga Falls from July 19 to July 21. Always a wonderful experience, enjoy entertainment from Italy and food prepared by local clubs. Visitors can also shop in local stores open for the weekend in the completely renovated downtown. For Stark County friends, the Stark County Italian American Festival will be July 5 to July 7 in downtown Canton. Godere!
