Mary Menniti of The Italian Garden Project to Present in Cleveland

The mission of The Italian Garden Project is to celebrate the joy and wisdom inherent in the traditional Italian American vegetable garden, preserving this heritage and demonstrating its relevance for reconnecting to our food, families, and the earth. It was founded by Mary Menniti who will be visiting Cleveland on July 8 and 9 to document some gardens and talk about her work. Both talks are free and open to the public.

On July 8 starting at 11:30 a.m., Menniti will speak at Cavotta’s Garden Center located at 19603 Nottingham Rd., Cleveland. On July 9 starting at 1:00 p.m. Menniti will speak at the Italian American Museum of Cleveland located in the heart of Little Italy at 12111 Mayfield Rd.
