Join Cleveland Montessori for holiday shopping, fun and refreshments from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Alta House gym. Santa will be making a guest appearance and visit with children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cleveland Montessori at 12510 Mayfield Rd. was organized as a grassroots effort to fill the educational needs of the parish of Holy Rosary and neighborhood of Little Italy.

Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25

Nestled in Cleveland's Little Italy, is Holy Rosary Church. Established in 1892, Italian immigrants found Holy Rosary parish a source of faith and a community of love. 

Christmas Eve Masses will be celebrated on Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. On Christmas Day, Wednesday December 25, Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

St. Rocco Church
Tuesday, December 24

Father James Mayer of St. Rocco Parish at 3205 Fulton Rd. in Cleveland will celebrate Christmas Eve with a bi-lingual mass at 4 p.m. If you have not had the chance to experience Mass in Italian with Fr. James at St. Rocco Parish, the first and oldest Italian parish on Cleveland's west side, Christmas Eve is the perfect opportunity to do so.

The church is also hosting its annual Giving Tree. Please bring all unwrapped gifts for the needy to the parish by Dec. 15. The church is asking for donations such as pajamas for children ages 7-14, hats, socks, gloves, board games, books, adult toiletries, and grocery/drug store gift cards.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Enjoy breakfast with your family and the "Big Guy" at Our Lady of Mount Carmel at  6928 Detroit Ave. in Cleveland. Call the church office for details. 

OLMC is also seeking decorators and young men with plenty of muscle to help lift and decorate the Church for the Christmas season. The decorating will take place during the week of Dec. 9 through the 13 starting at 6:30 p.m., directly following the 6 p.m. Mass. They would love to have anyone just show up ready to work with Christmas spirit!
