Il recente ritrovamento di un articolo del giornale Mahoning Dispatcher  risalente all´11 ottobre 1912, rivela la realtà della vasta comunità italo-americana della zona di Youngstown. L´ignoto autore dell´articolo difende vigorosamente i nostri immigrati che erano all´epoca oggetto di forti discriminazioni.

Thanks to a recent find by document researcher Joe Tucciarone, a century-old newspaper clip from the “Mahoning Dispatch” reveals the local Italian community on October 11, 1912. The unnamed reporter paints a strong defense of area Italians who were then the target of much discrimination. Along the way, the reader gains details about the extent of the large Italian immigrant population in Youngstown.
